Seven capital tastes

Stall creation in pair mentioning one of the seven capital tastes.

January 2023

The subject was: Normandy wishes to possess stall structures that can be reused, easily assemble and disassemble, but clearly identifiable to represent on many events specialities of the region. Those stalls shouldn’t be designed for one specific company but needed to be thematised by “taste” and to be able to welcome different production firms each time, handmade or industrial, depending on the event. So, they needed seven stalls working as a set, each of them representing one taste: sweet, salty, acid, bitter, astringent, spicy (chosen by our pair), and umami. Each stall could be developed on a maximal surface of 20 square meters, had to suggest an exhibition, a tasting, a cooking and a storage area. Finally, it needed to be self-supporting and transportable by two persons.
