Creating on the spur of the moment with a friend between two design class, this project is based on our common passion for comedic drawing and Marvel universe (still on it nowadays).
From a silly little spider-man draw in the page margin of a Spanish notebook, we created a full universe based on our everyday life, people around us, and the already existing universe of Marvel spider-verse. We sharing it on Webtoon and Instagram. The texts are short and in English to be able to reach a larger scale of people. While my friend Anna is drawing the characters, I’m drawing the background inspired by New York City. And with all that we’re sharing the story of Eli, Lara, Meg and Anastasia, three teenagers and a scarecrow who find out their spider-women powers, in a town full of chaotic super villains.
This common project led us to participate at Younivers festival in Caen in the visual art section.
